British intelligence can no longer afford to risk its finest minds in
the field. Now female control agents who are trained and retained at
headquarters remotely communicate with male field agents who are long on
brawn and short on brain.

Angie was the best in her field when she ran up against an arch villian
who neutralized her field agent. This looked bad on the record, but even
worse she did the unspeakable: she fell in love with her replacement
field agent, Alistair McInnis.
