When pretty, wide-eyed Evelyn Morrison accompanied her aunt to Denmark, she had no doubt that the trip would be exciting. But she had no idea that it would also be romantic.

First there was Einar Iversen, the attentive young medical student who showed her the sights of Copenhagen; then, handsome Frederik Lennert, who introduced her to the delights of Aftenholm Island and quickened the beating of her heart—and then there was Olav Brenn, Einar's worldly, wise and all too good-looking language professor.
