An ancient manuscript is found in a hidden library near Rome, and sent to a historian in the Netherlands for further investigation. It explains the whereabouts of a 15th century old house in the heart of Amsterdam he has never heard about. Using a map drawn on one of the pages he sets out to find it, and enters a world he never thought possible. Part of this short story is about another side of Rembrandt’s life, that is documented, but few people know of. He was a great artist, but at the same time - a great criminal.
