Cynthia Warner didn't like being jealous of the time her husband spent with her brother. But lately, they were inseparable, Stephen seemed to rely on Jason more and more. They even began to look alike. She was feeling like an intruder in her own life, and outsider in her family.

When she found the old news clippings of Karla Hoffman, her life grew even stranger, Karla was a near image of herself: same age, same face, same hair, same old dilemma in her marriage. The only difference was that Karla had been murdered fifty years before.
