Hard times and fun times of an American family raising their children in The American south during the 1950's. No racism, no bigotry, as we were all poor struggling to just survive and to put food on the table. This is a fictional story of two towns, Redtown and Hampton. It's a story of an unsolved murder, young girls disappearing from the community and the rearing of children. All the while a deep secret is hiding in the shadows that all come together at the end of the book that reveals a secret that only the American south can produce.
