About This Book

The main character, Arthur Elmo Jackson, experiences life through his libido. His redneck Father; his Mother, whose futile efforts to change her sons and her husband, often caused laughter instead of regret; and the fire and brimstone preacher (Reverend Gavin); serve to temper only slightly Arthur Elmo's desire to reach the promised land! The book is written in the prose of Arthur Elmo Jackson beginning in the late 1930s and ending in the 21st century. Southern dialect serves to validate the events and the culture of that era. Arthur Elmo Jackson is a Redneck. To ply a female, he is inclined to break out a six pack and put on a Randy Travis cd. He has a no cull policy in his quest for females. He believes all women, rated one through ten, should be subjected to his sexual prowess. Arthur Elmo's one variation from being a redneck is his preference for Don Juan over any sports figures including Mantle and Ruth.
