Reality

RealityA shared, but surprising spiritual experience connects two people, Elly and Sylvester. At different times in their lives they encounter the Reality of their spiritual nature. A coincidence brings them together and in turn this ultimately takes them to Romania, specifically Bucharest at the end of the 1980s into the 1990s. Here they are involved with the deserted population of young people whose lives were destroyed by the ousted Romanian leader, Nicolae Ceausescu, leaving them abandoned in dismal State orphanages from their early childhood. The adventure leads them to the surprise discovery of yet another with the same spiritual encounter which had driven both Elly and Sylvester. The core of the story was inspired by the true exploits of an old school friend of the author whose philanthropic nature led him to the same extraordinary mercy dash the character Sly undertakes; driving charitable supplies across Europe to Romania.
