Paralyzed inventor Shark Darkson must save the world's disabled from total annihilation. They film his journeys for a reality show. Television viewers watch Shark become a one-legged homeless man who defeats a knife wielding gang, a stuttering little girl who begins life anew after her mother dies, and a terminally ill man who finds love in his final hours. Shark triumphs in the minds and bodies of many other disabled people. Even in his own powerless body, he finds love and adventure. Yet the Grand Exodus snowballs in popularity as the Final Day approaches—July 4th!
