About This Book

It was only six weeks after this category five storm, removed our home, and everything we had collected over so many years. We had been visiting out of state during this week, and we got s shock when we came home. Our insurance took care of the financial part. However, we missed all our knickknacks. All our pictures, and paintings on the walls. One of the twins baby shoes we had on a shelf and all our books, plants and flowers, and the twins school memorable. Then one day the waterboard had to dig up part of our front lawn, for some sewer problem on the street. There, about ten feet from our new foundation, they found part of our old house. It was the size of a coffee table. They dug it out, and we took it in to the house. It fitted perfect as a coffee table in-front of our new coach. At dads work, they asked if he could visit a good customer, about two hundred miles away. Dad said of course yes. However, when he came home, he said he didn't won't to leave the house again. Well Bill, our dad, take it with you. So dad took a small stone that fell of the table, and with a smile, he drove over to this customer. On the way over there, he had no problems. But, coming back, he was driving along the main road, when an eighteen-wheeler ignoring a stop-sign, and continued across the road. Two police officers that saw the truck, went after it. My car had stopped dead. It took some time before I could make myself start the car. It started when I turned the ignition. Coming home, after I had explained the incident, I said, this might sound like fantasy, but I believe that the small stone from our table, saved my life.
