About This Book

June 21, 2003--the Vernal Equinox--author J.A. Greenleaf and his Kerry Blue Terrier, Murphy, are alone in his cottage located at the very top of Ireland, at Malin Head. Near midnight, on a very dark night, he decides to go outdoors and walk Murphy. To his great surprise and amazement, there are about thirty winged creatures, about the size of his hand, on the grass across from his front door. He walks closer and all of them rise up off the grass and fly towards him, circling in front of his face, making a "clacking" sound. He goes inside to get his new digital camera, expecting them to be gone. Some have left, but a few remain, again on the grass in front of him. He cannot see in the viewfinder, so he blindly starts taking pictures with the flash, for a total of five photographs. He fully expects there to be nothing on the pictures, but, to his wonderment, he has captured the images of what he believes to be real Irish fairies, and, perhaps, a leprechaun! Each of the five photographs is shown, in color, with no editing or changes whatsoever. Images are also shown, zoomed in to show detail, but, again, absolutely without any changes being made to the pictures. The photographs are truly remarkable and not staged or faked in any way.
