Lt. Kevin Broskey has cracked a mass-murder case and brought down a porn king, but now he's persona non grata in the Bay City Police Department. The reason: Broskey's got a thing about guys who kill cops, even if the guy happens to be on the mayor's payroll. Then one killing leads to another, and a health spa with some nasty habits is connected to a blackmail scheme that's already netted some Hollywood high fliers. As usual, Broskey's as welcome as a wasp nest. The brass wants him gone, his partner is probably on the take, and his neighbors insist that he cut his lawn.
