Rats, Spiders and Love

Samantha Tate, a middle child, is miserable and happy all at the same time.

Luckily, she loves the house by the ocean that her family moved into after her father's death. But unluckily, her mother might marry Jim, and move the family to Ohio. Sam's brother and sister think Jim would be a great father. But Sam has other ideas. Her science teacher is a far better choice.

Jim is allergic to animals, so Sam plans an experiment "for science class" involving rats to make Jim sneeze. As if that weren't enough, she adds to her get-rid-of-Jim scheme a garage full of spiders.

Will rats, spiders, and love chase Jim away? There's only one way to find out!
