Kacy Angelle would never forget the stranger's eyes. The color of a tempestuous green sea, his eyes held more emotion than Kacy could fathom. Of course, she didn't actually meet him. She just watched as he argued with the loan officer at one of Houston's savings and loans. But weeks later, after she'd forgotten the incident, it all came rushing back when she ran into the dark-haired stranger again.

Dan Wilder couldn't believe his rotten luck. He was on the verge of righting a treacherous wrong when this doe-eyed woman came along and caught him in the act. Worst of all, she could identify him. He had no choice but to take her hostage.
