Raccoon Round-Up at the Diamond R Ranch

Raccoon Round-Up at the Diamond R Ranch is a story of a young raccoon family living in a barn on a farmstead in North Central Kansas and how they interact with and eventually become part of Farmer Shine's family for generations to come. Great Grandpa Raccoon, with the urging of his great grandchildren, tells the story of the role his family played in Farmer Shine's life. He recalled the memories of first seeing the family arrive on the Diamond R Ranch, how the children played, grew and left the farm to begin lives of their own. Four generations of Farmer Shine's family returned for visits to the farm frequently until Farmer Shine became ill and passed on. They were all left to wonder what life on the farm was going to be like without the presence of the man that had always taken care of them.
