Quickstep: Out of Time

Jason Mackenzie is a bit of a slacker. After a school assignment requires him to interview his grandfather, the teenager gets a lot more than he bargained for. Red Mackenzie has kept a fantastic secret for a very long time. Finally the time is right to reveal the secrets from his past to his grandson. Windows and Portals in the spacetime continuum are for real, and Jason gets caught up in the middle of a place and time in history that he never truly believed in. The teen soon finds that the journey he is making has more at stake than just his mortal life. Can he really change? Is it worth the effort?
