It was the Soviet response to the NATO's Able Archer 83 simulation exercises. President Reagan defused the situation. In 2014, Soviet troops invaded Ukraine, attacking NATO forces positioned to defend their new ally. The President of Russia finally lost patience with the West's barriers to expansion. After repeated warnings, deciding a more devastating approach was needed, 300 megatons of nuclear missiles hit the UK alone. And purgatory, the living hell, began...
