My world didn't just come crashing down--it crushed me.

Secrets and lies hurt.

And they weigh a ton.

Now, I'm left to pick up the scattered pieces and go on.

Then, when I think there might be a light at the end of the tunnel--that too, burns out.

And I'm left with only myself to rely on, in a sea of disappointment.

Learning how to straighten your spine and hold your head up high--when it feels impossible--are tough lessons to learn.

But I do it.

Because I've been working too hard to give up on my dreams now.
