Promise of Salvation

In his second past-life experience, Gerry Patterson is randomly connecting to a 2nd-Century Han Dynasty soldier, but there is a new twist in this relationship: when the solder is wounded, so is Gerry. Even worse, the soldier is preparing for a suicide mission and it seems more than just the enemy wants him to fail. In the present time, kidnappers grab Gerry off the street with the intention of delivering him to an unknown fate. Gerry must not only help the soldier he is connected to in the past, but somehow escape from his desperate situation in the present. With the help of his girlfriend, Remmy and her psychic aunt, Jasmina, they discover that a dark entity called the Tsabbat has given a malevolent 2nd-Century Chinese merchant immortality. Gerry and his friends must scramble to stop the Tsabbat from changing history and making the merchant he controls emperor of the world.
