Annette's joy quickly turns to horror though when her son tries to kill her and she realizes he is not the loving young man she hoped he would grow up to be. In a race against time, with thousands of lives at risk, Annette struggles to grasp with who and what her son has become, why he hates her, and what he is planning to do.
