Pride and Prejudice: Kitty's Story

The fourth sister in the Bennet family, Catherine also called Kitty, spends the entire length of Pride and Prejudice in the shadow of her younger sister Lydia. In this new novel, she tells the story of her own search for a husband as well as the romances of her sisters. At first Kitty follows the lead of the headstrong Lydia and chases after officers who are billeted near their hometown of Meryton. Mrs. Bennet, who wants nothing more than to find husbands for five daughters, encourages both of the younger girls as they flit from one young officer to the other. Why Lydia finds social ruin, Kitty matures and survives to find true love.
