PRELUDE TO THE APOCALYPSE, Part 3

Tony and Evo continue their trek east from Owl through the burning neighborhoods of Palm Springs, where looting is the norm and Psytrance parties rage. The street lights are out but the date palms burn like torches. Tony trades gas for an emerald necklace that once belonged to PARIS HILTON and then heads for Pinyon Crest. Dave puts Evo and Tony in his guesthouse—a geodesic dome nestled in a eucalyptus grove and surrounded by wild lavender and sage. Dave's place is called NIRVANA and he has created a self-sufficient utopia in the high desert, complete with watsu pool, a fish pond, goats, vegetable gardens, orange groves, and wind-powered turbines.

Tony wants Evo to give birth in NIRVANA.
