Prelude to Darkness

Even now, when I remember the first time I looked into his eyes - that first instant that he drew me into his world of darkness, I still experience the same exhilaration and dread as I did then.
Would I do it again?
Yes!
He is the very essence of darkness, but at the same time he is my light. Nothing can compare to how he makes me feel, but it wasn't always that way.
His is a world of darkness. It is the world of the immortal, but that is just the beginning. It is also a world of wolves and so many things that do not exist in the world of light.
It is a world of eternal night and the endless search for the light. It is a reality that can only be seen with eyes that see all shades of darkness.
This is my story. It is the story of a love that conquers time, distance and even death, but it isn't just my story. This story belongs to all who seek the light within the darkness. We are the Light Seekers.
