Prairie Angel

After waking up from a riding accident with amnesia, Angela Prairie (aka Josephine McDonald) assists an abandoned farmwife in giving birth. After the woman dies, Angela takes the infant to the nearest town where she hires on as a cook at a restaurant, which happens to be owned by the partner of the man who wants Josephine McDonald dead. Bit by bit, Angela remembers what Josephine witnessed about a conspiracy to commit murder and steal gold from the Black Hills. When the son of the man she falls in love with is kidnapped by the man who wants her dead, she must trek across the Nebraska prairie to exchange herself for the boy's release.
