Julius ‘Jules' Beauregard has a problem. He is a werebear, but that's not the problem.

The problem is his anxiety because when he gets anxious it gets hard to control his bear. Jules' anxiety is a problem for other people as well. Billionaire businessman Brock Tandell is running for mayor in New Orleans. He is also a werebear and a member of Jules' clan. If Jules loses control Brock may just lose his shot at being mayor.

At a last minute business meeting at an airport coffee shop Jules meets the charismatic Giancarlo Carosa and his assistant, Gia. It's just business but it leaves Jules on edge and he's already stressed – he can't cancel this business trip and he hates flying. His day is about to go from bad to worse. And so is Gia's.
