When an American dies under suspicious circumstances in Berlin, the Specialists are called in to investigate. The victim was trying to track down a missing fortune that, belonged to his Jewish grandfather during World War II. It was part of a secret stash extorted by a corrupt Nazi unit offering escape to Jews bound for concentration camps. Except the Nazis kept the loot and sent most of their prisoners to their deaths. After the war, both the Nazis and the fortune disappeared. Now the Specialists want to know who was in the unit, where they are now, what happened to the missing funds--and why anyone who gets too close to the answers ends up dead.
