Pleasant Valley is in the midst of a range war. On one side stands the Tewksbury family and their sheepherder allies, whose animals tend to ruin the land they graze upon. On the other is the Graham clan, who wish to expand their cattle empire by eliminating the competition.

Between them is Clint Adams. By day, he's helping the sheriff keep the peace between the two factions. At night, he's trying his luck loving a high-stakes lady gambler.
