When Shannon Nelson shows up at Fire Lake Soccer Camp for a two-week session, she can't believe her good luck. She'll be training with Gregg Warner, the high school soccer legend from her hometown in Michigan. A few pointers from Gregg and she's sure to be a star!

After meeting Gregg in person, Shannon finds herself hoping the gorgeous assistant coach will notice more than just her quick defensive moves. But instead he ignores her except during practice, where he constantly criticises her. Shannon pushes herself even harder to impress Gregg, but she's not sure how much more her ego can take! Can Shannon find a way to kick some romance back into the game?
