Playing Saint Ditch

Small-town store owner Ditch McClintoc inherits an outrageous fortune of dubious origins and goes on an escapade of excesses to exact a personal vendetta against many detractors by way of living out fantasies. Ditch hires well-known television actor Loren Osmund to be his very believable imposter and to live life in his absence. The most coveted and mysterious component of the inheritance is left in the hands of twelve-year-old Heather Jacobson who must journey to figure out its importance. A situation which starts as an obscure financial windfall becomes a federal-level war scenario with battle lines drawn and many parties with vested interests waging war to the death.
