Playing Jock

This is the fifth and final book of Greyriver Shifters Volume Two. JOCKI'm not the one for her; can't she see that? I met Boo when she spotted me shifting in the middle of a human park, a no-no for shifters since humans aren't supposed to know about us. She saw me, and I saw her, so there's nothing left to do but kidnap the feisty human and take her home with me where I can keep my eye on her. I don't want to want her, but I find out pretty soon that it doesn't matter what I think I want; what matters is what I can have. BOOWhy can't he just get with the program? Jock Ashforth drugged me, kidnapped me, and told me we were married. All after I saw him turn into a huge, scary monster and kill someone with a slash of his wicked claws. I'm not into fairy tales; I'm not into happily-ever-afters and all that romantic stuff I read in books or watch on TV, but oh man, he's a hero worth drooling over. I want Jock. I will have him. I just have to figure out how to make him think he wants me. Heck, I should have taken those strip classes with my friend Meryl when she offered. Oh well, I'll work with what I've got.
