After suffering a traumatic brain injury while spelunking caves in Texas, the patient, a college student and science fiction enthusiast, Sargon X, imagines a universe confabulated from the remaining science fiction areas of his brain. Neurologists at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington DC, help Sargon X recover, while he journals, claiming aliens have abducted him and mistaken him for the next Isaac Asimov---a science-fiction Messiah. The kidnappers, however, are convicts escaped from the Soviet-style prisons of Pleko, who intend to sell AI-generated, Chatbot GBT versions of Earth sci-fi classics to get rich quick. Sargon X battles, leads armies, forms alliances with myriads of bio-diverse rulers of distant civilizations, marries, has children, solves the Fermi Paradox, writes a novel, and invents the world's first creative energy drink, Plasmola.
