Princess Ilara's alive. Tanus can feel it in his gut. And he'll stop at nothing to get her back. Even if every nefarious character on O is out to stop him and he has no idea what planet she's on. Even if the only way to find out is through a mind merge with the king. Tanus can't hold onto his secrets in a mind merge, and the king's killed men for less than what he's done. Tanus is forbidden from loving Ilara. He's especially not allowed to love her hot and heavily into the night. But Tanus doesn't follow rules. He breaks them. Besides, fellow soldier Dolpheus has his back. Together they'll take on the tyrants of O, return stability to the monarchy, figure out what planet Ilara's on and how the hell to bring her home, and somehow survive the process.
