Pirate Girl & Swordmaster

For her twelfth birthday, Felicity LeBeau is given a jeweled dagger and the right to sail on the pirate ship that her father captains. The crew grumbles, but accept her because of her flaming red hair and the fact they think she is a witch. Five years later, in a battle with the Spanish, her Uncle Jean Pierre Lamark is seriously injured and Felicity must do what she can to save him.

Sixteen-year-old Eric Sandoval is close to winning a spot in the World Championship fencing match to be held in France. However, his parents refuse to allow him to attend because they would have to change their plans and will not let someone else accompany him. His younger sister Melody is his champion. He wants his father to care enough about him to be proud of him and go with him. Can he win his father's love and respect?
