About This Book

Pinky and her family visit New York City and part of their adventure is the train trip they take to get there. Come along with Pinky as she takes a carriage ride around Central Park, takes a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, and views exhibits at the art museum. Of course the family also has to have lunch at a New York deli and get in some time for shopping. Exploring the Big Apple makes the time fly by quickly and soon the family is heading for the train ride home. The adorable rhyming storyline and the vivid illustrations will capture the attention of young readers. Being from Florida herself, Pinky is unfortunately familiar with the devastation that Mother Nature can wreak on communities. This book is dedicated to the people hardest hit by Hurricane Sandy and a protion of the proceeds generated from book sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to assist with relief efforts.
