Peter Scattergood and the Dark Force

Peter Scattergood now faces his ultimate test. he has been trained in survival skills and proper conduct by the eidolon, an immaterial being which is not a ghost or a spirit. His task is now revealed to him. He must travel back in time to the grim, war weary post-war period of Britain in 1947 where the Dark Force which is the enemy of all mankind has enslaved a group of scientists and supplied them with the forbidden knowledge they need to change the evolution of the universe by injecting 'strange matter' into the very early universe after the 'Big Bang'. This will prevent the emergence of an ordered universe which is the Dark Force's plan. At times it seems that Peter's struggle will involve him making the ultimate sacrifice but he battles on.
