Mary Ellen Forsman is getting married in two weeks, and this should be a joyful time in her life. Instead, yellow roses are being left on her doorstep, her boyfriend, Harvey, is jealous of an old friend that has come to town, and her mother, Gladys, questions just who is Harvey Broyhill. Did he murder his first wife? Why did he move to the small town of Farley, Alabama? Mary Ellen's simple world has turned upside down and all she wants to do is marry the man she believes is her soul mate, her best friend.
