"All the animals are gone..."

Something very strange is going on in Becky's neighborhood. It started when the people moved into the house next door--the house everyone says was haunted. Becky didn't know if the place had ghosts, but she did know that freaky things started happening when her new neighbor arrived.

Becky tries to figure out why her beagle, Irving, now looks like a plastic lawn ornament. Or why all the plants on her block have suddenly started to grow into a tropical rain forest. Even her brother insists on wearing a gorilla suit--all day, every day. (But then agin, he's always been weird.) Has Becky's neighborhood been invaded by aliens? Or something worse...
