Beatrice Dencey is constantly reminded by her aunt, the Dowager, that she must marry appropriately. And so must the Dowager's beloved granddaughter, Eleanor Graceover. Charged with finding Eleanor a suitable husband, Beatrice is sent to London with a list of pre-approved gentlemen.
