Hades is the Lord of the Underworld. Born a god, but banished from Mount Olympus to the Underworld, he lives in his own definition of Hell; a freezing cold realm inhabited by the souls of the dead. His only hope of pure happiness is found in young Persephone. Goddess of Spring. Queen of the Night. Spark of his life. His light, his very sin, his only love. Per-Sef-O-Nee. Four syllables of a name that dissolved on his tongue, like sugar, like birdsong, he whispered it: Per. Sef. O. Nee. Setting alight his desire and lust and making his heart pound greater, his body humming like a hummingbird.
