Paula Roberts Private Investigator - Cayman Islands

Though she loves detective work, Paula was involved with a case that could have killed her and done harm to her family. She is asked by her husband to wind down her employment at Crescent Moon Agency, but before she can fulfill her notice, she gets involved with a case that becomes much more dangerous than anyone thought possible. It leads her to the Caribbean where she is tracking a man who disappeared on a fishing trip and is thought to be dead. The action heats up when Paula and Carla, her assistant, on are his trail. When they come face to face with a hired killer choices are made that threaten their very lives. Paula calls Russ Baxter, her boss, who flies to Grand Cayman to provide support, but before he can reach them, things go sideways. Paula once again finds herself in extreme danger. Baxter calls Paula's husband, Jim, who also flies to the Caymans to be with his wife who has been injured. Will she survive? No one is sure, not even the best doctors assigned to her case.
