The fishing village of Sea Harbor, Massachusetts, is usually serene during the summer. However, for a tightly knit circle of friends, it's time to apply their crafty skills to solving a murder.

The Seaside Knitters love the twisted wool, silk, and mohair creations of out-of-towner Willow Adams. But before they showcase the free-spirited artist in Izzy Chambers' Seaside Knitting Studio, they'll introduce her to their own art festivity, Art at Night—a gala summer event held the first Sunday of the month in Sea Harbor's Canary Cove art colony.

At the height of the event's festivities, enigmatic artist and gallery owner Aidan Peabody is found dead in the secluded garden of his Fishtail Gallery. The Seaside Knitters suspect that this is a homespun homicide, and they soon discover more secrets in the cozy town than they could have ever imagined. But the biggest surprise involves Aidan Peabody's will—and the sole heir to his considerable estate. Faster than you can say seed stitch the Knitters find themselves unraveling Willow Adams' less savory creations from the past.
