About This Book

Someone deliberately set The Patchwork Quilt Shop on fire and barricaded the doors from the outside, trying to trap Autumn Syptembor inside. Stacy Walden is bitten by a rattlesnake when she opens a beautifully wrapped gift delivered to her studio office on the set of the WLUK Television station where she is the anchor woman, investigative reporter on staff. Is it possible that their mutual friend Felicia Ferret is responsible? The three musketeers, as they were called, have been friends since elementary school. It seems unlikely, and yet…Felicia is in an abusive relationship. Her boyfriend doesn't like Stacy or Autumn. Trouble only escalates as Lieutenant Louis Driscoll and first responder/fire fighter and assistant chief René Dutétré investigate. Lt. Driscoll is Stacy's uncle; Rene Dutétré wants to be protector and more for Autumn.

Autumn is the accidental sleuth who tries to piece together the events and who might be responsible. Her method is to use what she knows best, quilts and the art of quilting. As she puts her quilt puzzle together the solution to the mystery puzzle of who is out to get rid of her and probably Stacy becomes all too clear
