A time for change...
Laurie Raymond can't believe her luck. Her family is moving to the same Connecticut town that her old friend Gregg moved to a year ago! What could be more exciting than picking up their friendship where they left it off?

Once she's settled in her new home, however, Laurie discovers that nothing is the same. Gregg is one of the most popular boys in her new school, while Laurie is starting over. When Gregg encourages her to meet new people, Laurie worries that he may be abandoning her. Is Laurie losing her best friend? Or could it be that her relationship with Gregg is growing into something more than friendship?
