California-born Jamie Carrigan has caused trouble one too many time for her parents.

When twenty-two-year-old Jamie flunks out of college, her parents give her an ultimatum: Live with them or live with Grandma Kate, 3,000 miles away. Jamie chooses life in an isolated New York farming community with her grandmother.

Although Jamie expects to be thoroughly bored, she is pleasantly surprised by the attentions of the dashing, ill-regared Chad Braxton, and troubled and confused by the presence of the darkly handsome Judah Weston.

When she learns that her Christian parents are having serious marital problems, and when Chad's behavior and attitudes become increasingly troubling, Jamie searches for real answers. Could something as old-fashioned as Grandma Kate's faith bring her needed solace and direction? The mighty prayers of kate--and Judah--are being offered on her behalf.
