When good fortune finally smiled upon gold miner Slim Harper in the Black Hills, he realized that evil eyes were waiting for him to try and leave for home with his valuable goods. So he sent a wire to famed lawman Kid Palomino to come and help him escape the notorious Tent City. Attacked by Sioux and outlaws on the trail, it took Kid and his sidekick, Red Rivers, far longer to get there than they planned. In desperation, Slim set out on his own, with ruthless killers on his tail. But could Kid Palomino reach him in time, let alone save him?
