Lucille Lamb had plenty to put up with in her job as secretary to the film star, Shani Sharon, but she had deliberately chosen the job knowing it would give her opportunities to travel and to experience the glamorous world of films.

What she hadn't bargained for was that it would also bring her into the world of Tareq Hawke, the dynamic actor. It wasn't likely that "The Hawk" would bother himself with a nonentity like Lucille--which was why she hardly knew how he had forced her into marrying him.
