Chosen to compete in the Amateur Art Expo, Magnolia Ruby travels to a big city away from home ready for fun and fellowship with other artists. She is enlisted by a fearful woman to help investigate a past threat. Soon, she finds herself mixed up in dangerous crimes involving the artists. For once, Magnolia has no back-up from her friends and no support from the local police to help her uncover the truth. Back at home, Charlotte Pearl struggles to make wedding decisions without her best friend. She faces financial worries, relationship issues, and growing stress unaware of a sinister danger lurking closer than she could ever suspect.
