Overly Beautiful

What would you do if you woke up one day and realized that your entire life had changed? That you went from knowing everything, to knowing nothing, having to start your life anew as if you were a stranger to even yourself. Would you just accept it and retreat back into your old ways, or would you take this new opportunity as a sign to improve your life, become the person you had always wanted to be? This memoir will share my challenging sometimes frightening experiences of marriage and motherhood. The journey is filled with humor, shock, suspense and devastation. Readers will have access to my own private journal entries allowing them to experience this time in my life first hand. My initial intention for this memoir was to share my pregnancy experience with the world but since the completion of this book, my expectations have expanded. I am hopeful that by sharing this memoir it will help to encourage those women out there who are in abusive relationships to understand that there is a better life out there for them, they just need to gather the strength and courage to make it possible.
