W hen Jamie Royale arrived in Los Angeles for the insurance conference, she had a full itinerary. If she was going to open her own agency back home in Baton Rouge, she needed to soak up 'every bit of information offered in the seminars and speeches. She had no time to fraternize with men like Steve Flynn -- even if he did have sexy green eyes and a voice as smooth as Kentucky bourbon.

Steve Flynn wasn't pursuing Jamie for social reasons. He had a job to do -- and that meant trailing the dark-haired businesswoman until he cracked this case. Jamie was the last person to speak with Gary, an investigator from Flynn Security, before he disappeared.
