About This Book

As a result of the censorship imposed on many of Savage's works, only now are they being fully restored by returning to the author's original manuscripts.

Gunstorm Ghost, the short story in this new Western duo by Les Savage, Jr., opens at a dramatic moment in the life of gunfighter Dan Barrister. His father was feared more than he, but he was killed, and Dan now is intent on eluding the same fate.

Outlaws of the Brasada is a novel set in the brasada region of Texas. Things looked dark for Emery Bandine when he returned to Spanish Crossing from fighting in the Civil War. Conditions in Texas were so hard that he could be barely feed his family. He started to gather a stake by rounding up unbranded cattle in the brush country but he couldn't afford to pay for medical care and lost his wife before bearing her third child. Bandine is left with their two children and he swears that no matter what, he won't let them grow up in poverty, even if it seems to impossible.
