Out of the Blue

Car, clothes, and money stolen, April Conway and her daughter, Staci, are stranded in a local police station, waiting for Jake the Rake to come and get them. The father of Staci's pen pal, Jake is an all-star athlete, a notorious womanizer, and April's last resort. Free of the confines of her past, April finds that independence has never been more challenging -- or frustrating. This isn't exactly the "new start" April had in mind when she left her hometown.
